Power Connection

Connect the supplied power cord to the rear panel
AC IN connector, then connect the other end to an
AC outlet.
CAUTION
For safe operation, always connect the ground
wire.

Using the Effect Loop

Use the EFFECT LOOP SEND/RETURN jacks to
connect an external effector. (Diagram 1)
You can switch the Effect Loop ON/OFF using the
included footswitch. (→ page 20)
* The external effects circuit is set to parallel at
factory but can be switched to serial using the
"THR HD_H Utility" application. (→ page 21)

Monaural Phone Jack

AC IN Connector
On the THR100HD, the SEND/RETURN jacks are
stereo (TRS), with Amp I assigned to the Tip and
Amp II assigned to the Ring. (Diagram 2)
To connect an external effect to Amp I only, use a
monaural phone cable.
To connect external effects to Amp I and Amp II
separately, use an insert cable (stereo → mono x2)
as shown in the diagram below. (Diagram 3)
