BATTERY INSTALLATION
Two (2) "AAA" size batteries (not included) can be used for the clock, radio preset and alarm memory backup as
follows:

are weak and need replacing.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Warning – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to

4. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline, Rechargeable and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.

OPERATION
Turning the Unit On and Off:

Setting the FM Region:
This unit allows you to set the desired radio region. For region details, see chart below.
1. With the unit off, press and hold the Tune 8 button until the region number appears in the display

2. Press one of the preset buttons corresponding the the desired region to set the Region.
RADIO REGIONS:
Region 1 – USA (Press Preset 1)
Region 2 – Europe (Press Preset 2)

With the unit on, insert one end of the included audio cable into the LINE OUT jack on your external audio unit
and the other end into the AUx IN jack
select Aux mode; "Line In" will appear in the display. Start playback of the external unit and its audio output
sound will be heard through this unit's speakers. If desired, rest portable player on the bumper.
To set or reset the actual time:
1. Press and hold the Set Time button
2. Repeatedly press the Volume +
3. Press the Set Time button to confirm the hour setting and the minutes will begin blinking in the display.
