Check local laws before using the FM
transmitter in your area. Use of FM transmitters
is currently illegal in certain European countries
due to specific radio frequency restrictions.
If an FM transmitter is available on your
nüvi, you can listen to the nüvi audio on
an FM stereo.
NOTe: When using the FM
transmitter function on the nüvi,
hands-free phone calls through the
nüvi might be overheard by adjacent
vehicles through the FM stereo.

Manually Tuning the FM
Transmitter
If you are not using an FM traffic
receiver, select an FM channel for the
FM transmitter.
1. From the Menu page, touch
> Audio Output
OK.
2. Tune your stereo to an FM channel
that has a lot of static and has a low
FM frequency number.
3. Touch the Current FM Frequency
button.
4. Touch and
frequency to which your stereo is
tuned.
