Press the POWER button 1 to turn the
unit on. Press the FUNCTION button 2
repeatedly to select the Radio band; AM
or FM will appear in the display.

MANUAL TUNING: Repeatedly press
the Tune/Skip/Search o 1 or n 2
button to manually advance the fre-
quency in the display up or down until
the desired frequency appears.

If an FM station is selected, and is
broadcasting in FM stereo, "STEREO"
will light in the display. Adjust the VOL-
UME control 1 and BBS button 2 as
desired. Press the BBS button 2 to the

ANTENNAS
AM–This unit has a built-in ferrite rod antenna, which provides adequate reception in most
areas. If reception is weak, turn the unit to improve reception.
FM–The FM Antenna is for FM reception only. If reception is weak, adjust the length and the
angle of the antenna.

search and then stop on the next strong
