SOLUTION
Replace batteries.
Use only center positive adapter
with 9V output.
Check AC adapter
connection.
Close CD compartment.
Reinsert disc correctly.
Try another disc.
Wipe disc with soft
cloth.
Clean or replace disc.
Unplug headphones.
Increase volume.
Replace batteries.
Try another disc.
Turn the FUNCTION switch to
Retune AM or FM
broadcast station.
Rotate unit until best
reception is obtained.
Activate alarm.
