TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
CAUSE
AC cord not
connected.
CD compartment
door not closed.
Disc inserted
incorrectly.
Dirty or defective CD. Try another disc.
Moisture
condensation on disc.
VOLUME control
set to minimum.
Defective disc.
Dirty or defective
disc.
VOLUME control
set to minimum.

FM: Telescopic ant-
antenna is not
properly adjusted
AM: Unit is not pos-
itioned correctly.
SOLUTION
Check AC cord
connection.
Close CD compartment
door.
Reinsert disc correctly.
Wipe disc with soft cloth.
Increase volume.
Try another disc.
Clean or replace disc.
Press the POWER button.
Increase volume.
Retune the AM or FM
broadcast station.
Reorient FM telescopic
antenna.
Rotate unit until best
reception is obtained.
