STEP RECORDING

PREPARE TO STEP RECORD
The preparative works for step record include selecting tracks, beats etc. Press the STEP REC
button and LCD will display "SelTrack". You can select the track by pressing the [MELODY1]-
[MELODY4]/[ACCOMP] buttons. Press the NEXT button to confi rm and then enter next step.
If there are recorded data in the selected track, the LCD will display "EDIT" for continuing
recording at the end of data or edit the recorded data with NOTE, VELOCITY value. Press the
NEXT button to enter "EDIT" step and press the [+/YES] button to begin new step recording.
"New" will be shown on LCD or press the BACK button to return. If there is no any recorded
datas in the selected track, you will enter new step recording in this track by pressing the NEXT
button .
If ACCOMP track is selected, you will direct to enter step recording and ABC will be set au-
tomatically. The LCD will display "CHORD" after pressing the NEXT button. If you enter new
step recording with MELODY track, the ABC will be clear automatically and LCD displays the
type of STYLE beat, for example "BEAT 4/4". Press +/- button to select STYLE beat with 4/4,
3/4, 2/4, etc, the beat will be set when pressing the NEXT button. Then, the LCD will display
"InputNew" and you can begin MELODY step recording.
Note: For step recording, you must use number keys to input the note after pressing keys on keybaord.
No notes can be recorded if you only press keys on the keyboard (see the table of number keys ).
