Moisture removal
The moisturethat your air
conditionerremovesfrom the air
drains to the rear of the cabinet
where it is picked up by a fan and
dispersed againstthe condenser.
Occasionally,more likelyduring
start up, a "pinging" noise may be
heard. This is normal for a short
time in less humid areas and longer
in very humid areas. This method
of moisture removalimprovesthe
operationalefficiencyof your
air conditioner.
Note: Before movingyour air
conditioner to another location,
turn it off and wait 5 or 10minutes.
This will allow the condensateto
drain from the coil into the base
pan. Then, keepinga firm grip on
the air conditioner,carefullyraisethe
window and tilt the air conditioner
to the outside to drain the water
from the base pan.
ROOMSIDE VIEW
The top grillehas 3 settingsto let you
vary the angle of the air discharge.
Grasp tabs on each end and pull up
untilthe top grillestopsat the setting ~
you want.
Air directionon the indoor side is
throughthe front grille and out the
top. Air flow out the top should not
be obstructedby curtainsor drapes.

2. Set Temperature Control at
desired number.
When the Temperature Control is
set on 9 or 10and the Fan is set on
low speed, moisture may freeze on
the coils and prevent the unit from
cooling. If this happens, set the Fan
at high speedand setthe Temperature
Control to a lower number.
Air direction on the outdoor side is
through the rear grille and out
through the top and side louvers.
