    2. C ONTROLS 2.1 I NTEGRATED ONTROL OOTING EQUENCE The unit booting sequence is similar to a personal computer booting sequence. Each time the unit is plugged after being unplugged, or after a power failure, the unit will perform a 30-second booting sequence before starting to operate.

    2. C ’ ONTROLS CONT 2.2 O VT4W PTIONAL ONTROL For more convenience, this unit can also be controlled using an optional main wall control VT4W. Only one VT4W can be connected to the unit. NOTES: 1. The integrated control must be turned OFF to use the optional main control VT4W.

    2. C ’ ONTROLS CONT 2.3 O PTIONAL UXILIARY ONTROL Unlike the optional main control, up to 5 optional auxiliary controls can be connected to the same ventilation unit. 2.3.1 20-M INUTE IGHTED UTTON Press once on its center (A) to activate the push button.

    3. M AINTENANCE WARNING Risk of electric shock. Before performing any maintenance, always turn off and disconnect the unit from its power source. Sharp edges may be present. When cleaning the unit, it is recommended to wear safety glasses and gloves. Refer to illustration at right to identify the inner parts of your unit.

    3. M ’ AINTENANCE CONT 3.1 S ’ NNUAL AINTENANCE CONT CAUTION Make sure to align proper symbol on the core (circle or square) with the one on the unit. 7. Slide the cleaned core into the unit. 8. Slide the cleaned filters into the unit. NOTE: The mesh side of filters must be on bottom (rests on core surface).

    4. T ROUBLESHOOTING WARNING Shock hazard. Never open the electronic box. No user-serviceable parts inside. There is a fuse on the electronic board. Never attempt to replace it. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. If the unit does not work properly, reset the unit by unplugging it for one minute and then replug it.

    2. C ONTROLES 2.1 C ONTROL INTEGRADO ECUENCIA DE PUESTA EN MARCHA La secuencia de puesta en marcha del aparato es similar a la de una computadora personal. Cada vez que se enchufa el aparato después de haberlo desenchufado o tras un corte de corriente, el aparato pasará por una secuencia de puesta en marcha de unos 30 segundos antes de empezar a funcionar.
