The programme selector dial allows to select a drying programme. It can be turned either
clockwise or anticlockwise. (See «Programme Table» for more details about the drying pro-
grammes).
This button allows to change the wash water temperature according to the kind of fabrics,
colorfasteness and soil level. (See «Washing hints» for more details).
Note: Select a wash water temperature according to fi ber content, colorfastness and soil level.
For best results, follow the care label instructions and use the hottest water safe for the fabric.
Press this button repeatedly
• to change the spin speed, if you want your laundry to be spun at a speed different from
the one automatically proposed by the appliance or
• to select Rinse Hold or No Spin option.
The relevant light lights up.
Rinse Hold: By selecting this option the water of the last rinse is not emptied out to prevent
the fabrics from creasing. When the programme has fi nished, the door is locked to indicate
that the water must be emptied out. To empty out the water, please read the chapter «At the
end of the programme».
No Spin: This option eliminates all the spin phases and increases the number of rinses in
some programmes.
By pressing this button you can select one of the following options:
• Signal Volume: A signal will sound when setting a wash programme, in case of wrong
selection and in the event of operating problems and at the end of the programme. This
signal has a three level-adjustable volume or can be turned off. Choose the desired volume
level or turn it off by pressing button 5.
• Easy Iron: Selecting this option the laundry is gently washed and spun to avoid any creas-
ing. In this way ironing is easier. Furthermore the appliance will perform some additional
rinses in some programmes.
• Extra Rinse: This appliance is designed for saving water. However, for people with a very
delicate skin (allergic to detergents) it may be necessary to rinse the laundry using an extra
quantity of water.
• Eco: Saving energy and consumption option. Only for cottons and synthetics items lightly
or normally soiled at a temperature of 40°C or higher. The washing time will be prolonged
and the washing temperature will be reduced.
