    Operation Switching on ^ To ignite the burner, press the control knob down and turn it anti-clockwise to the largest flame symbol. When a control knob is activated, a spark is generated on all burners. This is not a fault. ^ When the flame ignites, keep the control pressed in for 5-10 seconds, and then let it go.

    Energy-saving tips – Use a lid whenever possible to minimise heat loss. – Cook with as little water as possible. – Cooking times can be significantly reduced with a pressure cooker. – Reduce the power setting once the water has come to the boil or the oil is hot enough to fry in.

    Conversion to another type of gas Connection to the gas supply, or conversion from one type of gas to another, should only be undertaken by an approved and registered gas installer in strict accordance with local and national safety and building regulations. When converting to a different type of gas, all burner jets have to be changed.
