2. Applications and
functions
The SilverCrest KH 2360 DVD player is intended
exclusively for private, non commercial use in enclosed
spaces.
Playback formats
• DVD videos in the 12cm and 8cm (diameter) for-
mats marked with the country/region code 2 or
ALL
and by the logo DVD video
• MPEG4 and DivX "Standard" videos (DivX ver-
sions 3.11, 4.x, 5.x, 6.x).
• Video CDs (VCDs) and Super Video CDs (S-VCDs)
in the 12cm and 8cm (diameter) formats.
• Audio CDs in the 12cm and 8cm (diameter) for-
mats marked with the logo CD
• Data format CD Audio (.cda), MP3 (.mp3), Win-
dows Media Audio (.wma), DivX (.avi), (.mp4)
and JPEG (.jpg) on the storage medium CD-R,
CDRW, USB memory stick as well as memory
cards of the type SD and MMC.
Output/playback device
The following devices can be connected to the DVD
player for image output/playback (if these devices
have available the corresponding connection potentials
and connection of a DVD player is provided for/
allowed by the manufacturer of the playback device):
• Stereo and Mono televisions with the formats PAL
or NTSC and the picture formats 4:3/16:9.
• LCD/Plasma screens or video projectors.
• Video devices such as DVD player, video recorder,
TV receiver or game consol.
For output/playback of sound and/or music the fol-
lowing devices can be used and/or connected to
the portable DVD player:
• from the speaker of one of the televisions connec-
ted to the DVD player
• from external audio components such as a HiFi
system, receiver or surround sound system (analo-
gue)
• from other external image and sound sources
