Procedure
• The following values will be added to the
reference value. DO NOT adjust these
codes in the field.

: Grid standard voltage compensation
F6-18
: Laser power compensation
F6-19
: Developer bias standard voltage
compensation
(1) Enter the F6 mode.
(2) Ensure that F6-17,
18
and
(3) Enter the F2 mode and set the exposure
to the center position
Set the machine to Text / Photo mode.
(4) Make a copy of Test Chart 53/54 with gray
scale (P/N FQ-SJ1011).
a) Gray scale "1" should not be visible.
b) Gray scale "2" should be clearly visible.
Note: Skip to step 11 if the density is within
the specification.
(5) Enter the
F6-50
mode.
(6) Enter the new content.
Note: The "Reset" key is used to enter the
"–" content.
(+): Lighter side
(–): Darker side
(7) Press the "OK" key, then press "Start" key.
(8) Press the "Stop" key twice.
(9) Enter the F2 mode.
(10)Make a copy to confirm the adjustment
Note: Repeat step 3 to 10 until the proper
density is attained.

(11)Press the "User Preset" and "Clear" keys
simultaneously to exit the service mode.
