Preparation Procedure Set the camera in the following procedure. Step 1 Connection and Installation Firstly, make a hole on the ceiling and connect the power cable, LAN cable, alarm and others to the terminal of the ceiling-mounting bracket of this unit. Then, install the camera to a Ceiling Mount Fix a wire securely for preventing the camera from falling off.

Preparations (Step 1 Connection and Installation) Attaching the Ceiling Mount To a ceiling slab or channel Ceiling Mount Screws Attaching a safety wire. Attach a safety wire to the Ceiling Mount and to the ceiling slab or channel to prevent the unit from being able to fall to the floor.

● At the factory, DHCP is set enabled for VN-C655. ● About the DHCP function JVC does not recommend operating VN-C655 with this function enabled because a differ- ent IP address may be assigned upon the renewal of the leasing contract. The DHCP function of VN-C655 is designed for simplifying the installation and setting procedures.
