Preparation Attaching the Wide Mask A wide mask is provided with the monitor. This changes the viewable screen area to the 16:9 aspect ratio. Caution: • The wide mask cannot be attached to the monitor after the monitor is mounted in a rack. Mount the wide mask before installing the monitor in a rack.
Preparation Attaching the Power Cord Holder • The provided Power Cord Holder prevents accidental disconnection of the AC power cord from the AC inlet. • The Power Cord Holder consists of two parts; a case and a cover. 1. Attach the Power Cord Holder case to the AC inlet on the back of the monitor with 2 screws (provided).

How to Use the External Control About the External Control The Multi-Format Monitor has two external control terminals. One is the MAKE/TRIGGER terminal, which allows the monitor to be controlled by the MAKE (make contact) or TRIG. (trigger) method selected in the function setting. MAKE (make contact system): Controls the function by short-circuiting the corresponding pin terminal to the GND pin terminal, or disconnecting (opening) it.
