0499), the keypad locks.

pulls it out of the wall) if a wireless module is enabled.

8 - External Failure

Condition:
A fault contact (direct connected to the zone) is triggered (zone type = external fault).
Restore:

Wait until the keypad lockout time (3min) expires and reset the fault.
Report the keypad lock out to configured destination on address 124 when the keypad
lock out is detected.
Slow flash FAULT indicator (refer to Keypad Indicators, page 10 for a detailed description).
When the keypad lock out condition is reset, send the restored report to the configured
destinations.
The FAULT indicator is turned off when there is no other system fault.
RF Receiver Tamper
Restore the receiver and reset the tamper condition. For more information refer to RF
Devices, page 78.
Report receiver tamper fault to configured destination when the fault is detected.
Slow flash FAULT indicator (refer to Keypad Indicators, page 10 for a detailed description).
When the fault is reset, send the restored report to the configured destinations.
The FAULT indicator is turned off when there is no other system fault.
RF Repeater Tamper
Restore the repeater and reset the tamper condition. For more information refer to RF
Devices, page 78.
Report repeater tamper fault to configured destination when the fault is detected.
Slow flash FAULT indicator (refer to Keypad Indicators, page 10 for a detailed description).
When the fault is reset, send the restored report to the configured destinations.
The FAULT indicator is turned off when there is no other system fault.
External Fault Zone 1-16
Restore the fault contact and reset the fault.
Report the fault condition to configured destination on address 124 when the fault
condition is detected.
