TTY Use A TTY (teletypewriter, also known as a TDD or Text Telephone) is a telecommunications device that allows people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or who have speech or language disabilities, to communicate by telephone. Your phone is compatible with TTY devices using 45.45 Baud rate.

Security Features for Internet Enabling and Disabling Internet Services You can disable Internet services without turning off your phone; you will not have access to all Internet services, including Web and email. Disabling Internet will avoid any charges associated with Internet services. While signed out, you can still place or receive phone calls, check voicemail, and use other voice services.

Uploading Pictures 1. Select > Pictures > My Albums > In Phone. 2. Check the picture(s) you wish to upload, and then press Options (right softkey) > Upload. 3. Select Selected or All. 4. Select “Uploads”Area or Other Albums. Downloading Your Online Pictures From the Xtra Online Gallery, you can download the selected pictures to your phone’s In Phone folder.

Bluetooth ® Using Bluetooth Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology that allows you to connect wirelessly to a number of Bluetooth devices, such as headsets, hands-free car kits, Bluetooth- enabled handhelds, computers, and mobile phones. The Bluetooth communication range is usually up to approximately 10 meters (30 feet).
Using the Bluetooth Menu The Bluetooth menu allows you to use many functions of your phone’s Bluetooth service. Select > Tools > Bluetooth to display the Bluetooth menu: Handsfree Pairing to find a Bluetooth headset or hands- free device and add it to your Trusted List. Send Contact to send the Contacts entry saved on your phone to another Bluetooth device.
4. Highlight a device you want to add to the Block List and press Block (left softkey). Block List Options From the Block List, press Options (right softkey) to display the following options: Device Info to display the device’s information. Unblock to remove the device from the Block List.
Bluetooth Profiles All the Bluetooth settings you configure are stored in your phone’s Bluetooth user profile. Different profiles can be used for specific Bluetooth functions. HSP: Headset Profile – This profile functions as a mobile ear jack. When an incoming call is received, the ringer can be heard through the headset.
Pairing Bluetooth Devices The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted connections between your phone and another Bluetooth device. When devices are paired, a passcode (PIN Code) is shared between devices, allowing for fast, secure connections while bypassing the discovery and authentication process.
Using the Trusted List Options Once you have created paired devices, several options are available from the Trusted List. 1. From the Trusted List, highlight a device. 2. Press Options (right softkey) to display the following options: Connect or Disconnect to connect to or disconnect from the Bluetooth device (if applicable).
Sending Data via Bluetooth You can send data saved on your phone to another Bluetooth device. 1. From the Trusted List, highlight the device and then press Options (right softkey) > Send Item. 2. Select an item (Business Card or Contacts) and press 3.
