This is referred to as Power Save Mode. If the computer detects input from keyboard, mouse, or other input devices, the monitor automatically resumes functioning.

    1. Turn off both your computer and the monitor. 2. Unplug the video cable from the back of the computer. To ensure a successful Self-Test operation, remove the Analog connector for E1913S. For E1913 and E2213, remove both the Digital (white connector) and the Analog (blue connector) connectors from the back of the computer.
