9.7 Cache Settings

DVAS Series disk array has a write cache memory,
which is normally enabled. The cache memory holds
data being written to disk, enabling the controller to
confirm that a command is complete before data is
physically written. A battery backup protects cached
data for up to three days in the event of a power
failure during an unfinished write operation. The
DVAS Series disk array controller automatically
completes any unfinished write operations once power
has been restored, provided the cached data is
available.
