message features can receive and
display picture messages. The
appearance of a message may vary
depending on the receiving device.
Configuration message
receive a text message service
number, voice mailbox number,
Internet access point settings,
access point login script settings,
multimedia messaging settings,
synchronization settings, or e-mail
settings from your network operator
or service provider in a configuration
message. To save the settings, select
Options > Save.
Service messages
Service messages (network service)
are notifications (for example, news
headlines), and they may contain a
text message or the address of a
browser service. For availability and
subscription, contact your service
provider.

You can organize your messages into
folders, create new folders, and
rename and delete folders.
Select Menu > Messag.

Options > New folder

Select Menu > Messag.
When you open this folder, you can
connect to your remote mailbox
(network service) to do the
following:
• Retrieve new e-mail headings or
messages.
• View your previously retrieved
e-mail headings or messages
offline.
When you scroll to your mailbox and
press the joystick, the phone asks
you if you want to
mailbox?. Select Yes

offline.
Another way to start a connection is
to select Options
If you select New message
Create: > E-mail or
messaging main view and you have
not set up your e-mail account, you
are prompted to do so. See
settings" on page 20.
When you create a new mailbox, the
name you give to the mailbox
automatically replaces
the Messaging main view. You can
have up to six mailboxes.
When you are online, select
Options > Disconnect
data call or packet data connection
to the remote mailbox.
