Audio Selection

<DVD Discs>
This function can only be used for discs on which the sound has been recorded in multiple formats.
On some discs, the sound is recorded in both Dolby Digital (5.1 channels) and Linear PCM. Use the procedure
below to select the type of playback.

While a disc is playing, press the AUDIO
number.
While the audio format number is displayed, press the AUDIO
controls ) to switch to the next audio format number in the sequence of audio formats recorded on the
disc. Playback then continues in the new audio format.

Three types of playback are available for VCD discs and CD discs.
