    Wireless networks use channels. Each wireless channel is on a different frequency. There are up to 14 different channels that can be used when using a wireless network.     Control panel features8 Control panel features Overview This printer has one back lit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), seven buttons and two Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) on the control panel. The LCD is a 16 character single line display. With the control panel you can do the following: Change the print server settings using the control panel See Network menu on page 45.

    The Factory Reset allows you to reset the print server back to its factory default settings. For more information and resetting, see Reset the network settings to the factory default on page 59. Set to Default (For HL-3075CW) The Set to Default allows you to reset each wired or wireless network setting to the factory default.

WPS or AOSS (For HL-3075CW wireless network only) If your wireless access point/router supports either Wi-Fi Protected Setup (PBC ) or AOSS™, you can configure the machine easily without a computer. Your Brother machine has the WPS/AOSS menu on the control panel.

    Control panel features WPS w/PIN Code (For HL-3075CW wireless network only) If your wireless access point/router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (PIN Method), you can configure the machine easily. The PIN (Personal Identification Number) Method is one of the connection methods developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance.

    Control panel features Reset the network settings to the factory default You can reset the print server back to its factory default settings (resetting all information such as the password and IP address information.) Note You can also reset the print server back to its factory default settings using the BRAdmin applications or Web Based Management (web browser).

    Node name: Node name appears on the Network Configuration page. The default node name of the print server in the machine is “BRNxxxxxxxxxxxx” for a wired network or “BRWxxxxxxxxxxxx” for a wireless network (For HL-3075CW). The Network Configuration page prints a report listing all the current network settings. You can print the Network Configuration page using the control panel.

    Driver Deployment Wizard (Windows ® only)9 Driver Deployment Wizard ® (Windows only) Overview The Driver Deployment Wizard software can be used to ease the installation or even automate the installation of a locally connected or network connected printer. The Driver Deployment Wizard can also be used to create self running executable files which when run on a remote PC, completely automates the installation of a printer driver.

    ® Driver Deployment Wizard (Windows only) How to install the Driver Deployment Wizard software Put the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. If the model name screen appears, choose your machine. If the language screen appears, choose your language. The CD-ROM main menu will appear. Click Install Other Drivers or Utilities. Choose the Driver Deployment Wizard installation program.

    ® Driver Deployment Wizard (Windows only) Using the Driver Deployment Wizard software When you run the Wizard for the first time you will see a welcome screen. Click Next. Choose Printer, and then click Next. Choose your connection type to the printer that you want to print to. Choose the option you require, and follow the on-screen instructions.
