3. Setting Up the DRM-5004X
Basic Two-Reader Configuration
This chapter describes how to properly unpack, set up and test the
DRM-5004X and the two Pioneer CD-ROM Readers, DR-D504X, that
typically ship with the unit. This is a standard two drive configura-
tion. These are instructions for setting up and testing the standard
configuration up to the point of connecting a computer to the unit.
3.1

Safety Precautions

Before you begin to set up the DRM-5004X, thoroughly review the
safety precautions described on page ix of this manual. This safety
information is intended to protect users from injury and to protect the
DRM-5004X and its components from damage.
