Watching DVD Video
INSTANT PLAY enables you to watch a DVD video without starting Windows.
Remote Control Operation
This section describes how to operate the remote control to watch a DVD video.
To connect the remote control to the computer, refer to the Connecting
Remote Control section in Chapter 1.
Volume Up
Volume Down
: Moves to the previous chapter. Pressing for more
than three seconds provides fast rewind play.
(During the fast rewind playback, each three-second
press rotates the rewinding speed among 2x, 4x, 8x,
20x, 30x, and normal playback.)
: Stops the current playback.
: Moves to the next chapter. Pressing for more than
three seconds provides fast forward play.
(During the fast forward playback, each three-
second press rotates the fast-forwarding speed
among 2x, 4x, 8x, 20x, 30x, and normal playback.)
: Starts playback of the disc/Pauses the playback.
(To resume, press it again. The playback will resume
at the same location.)
: Increases the volume.
: Mutes the volume. To resume, press it again.
: Decreases the volume.

After pressing the ( ) button once, press (
the current location. After pressing the ( ) button twice, press (
the playback from the beginning.
