Changes on the upgraded programme

Functions and procedures not described in
this manual are basically the same as when
you purchased the navigation system. For de-
tails of the basic functions and procedures,
refer to Operation Manual supplied with your
navigation system.
If you upgrade your navigation system using
this SD memory card, the system will have the
following changes.
For users upgrading the
hardware for the first time
Searching for a name by
entering characters
When you enter characters on a search
screen, the system will automatically search
the database for all possible options. Only the
characters you enter are active.
p The function of searching by entering mul-
tiple keywords will be unavailable.
For users who have
previously upgraded the
hardware with CNSD-
230FM
Only the map database changes to the latest
data (all the operations are the same
before).
