Ei How to load a compact disc
Ce side
Disc tray
[A] OPEN/CLOSE key
Press the OPEN/CLOSE key [4] to open the tray.
The disc is inserted with the labeled side up.
Make sure to center the CD (8 cm) correctly in the disk tray
as shown in a diagram.
Close the disc tray by pressing OPEN/CLOSE key (4) or
pushing the front of the tray lightly.
Notes:
1. Make sure of the side of the disc. The disc cannot be
played if it is placed upside down.
2. Do not place objects other than the disc on the disc tray.
3. Be sure to place a disc correctly.

Always replace the compact disc in its case and store it.
Compact discs are adversely affected by heat and mois-
ture. Do not store compact discs in a place exposed to
direct sunlight or where humidity is high.
@ Beware of condensation
possible.) Be especially careful in the following cases:
@ When the unit is suddenly brought from a cold place to
a warm place (causing rapid temperature change).
e@ When the temperature of the room is raised suddenly
using a heater, etc.
e In conditions where the temperature difference be-
tween the surroundings and this unit might cause
condensation.
