been shut off. There is a danger of electric shock.

For External connect kit and locally purchased parts,
apply voltage indicated on specifications of parts.
Application of unspecified voltage may result failure or
malfunction of air conditioner.

2. ABOUT THE UNIT
2.1. General
•
This external control kit is an adapter connecting outdoor
unit control PC board and local wiring in order for external
input (peak cut mode, low noise mode) and external output
(compressor status output, error status output).
2.2. Accessories

The following installation parts are supplied.

3. LOCALLY PURCHASED PARTS
3.1. Specifications of parts
•
All the parts except External connect kit shall be
purchased locally.
3.1.1. Power supply
•
Voltage (Chart sign = Vcc)
For EX. input : DC5V to 24V
For EX. output : DC24V or less
•
The current capacity: About 100mA
3.1.2. Switch (Chart sign = SW)
•
Toggle switch or Rocker switch, etc : Switch which
maintains the states.
•
Prepare switches which are enough capable for
DC 10mA current or more.
3.1.3. Resistance (Chart sign = R)
•
Adjust the resistance for current to about DC 10mA
(Example)
•
In case of Vcc = DC 5V :
Rated resistance value 470Ω 1/4W
•
In case of Vcc = DC 12V :
Rated resistance value 1kΩ 1/4W
•
In case of Vcc = DC 24V :
Rated resistance value 2.2kΩ 1/4W
