4. KDS-100 Configuration
Select a file and click [OK] to load it.
The message appears asking you to save the
configuration data. When selecting "Yes", the same
display appears as when you execute the "Save as"
command and you can name the file and save it.

The extension for the configuration data file created on
the KPG-71D is ".dat". An error message appears when
you load the file that has a ".dat" extension that is
created by other applications.

Save

Select "Save" from the pull-down menu to save the
configuration data.
A message appears that asks you whether or not to
overwrite the data when a saved configuration file
already exists. Select [Yes] to overwrite the data or
"Save as" to save as the different file.
When saving the new configuration data, the same
display appears as when you execute the "Save as"
command and you can name the file and save it.

The extension of the configuration
data file created in KPG-71D is ".dat".

Save as

The following window appears when selecting "Save as"
from the pull-down menu.
You can name and save the configuration data in this
window.
When configuring new data, you can name and save the
setting file whether the file exists or not.
The extension for the configuration data file created on
the KPG-71D is ".dat". You do not need to enter the
extension; it is automatically saved.

Note: You can save and load a data file that has the file name
"Other characters.dat".

Print

The following window appears when selecting "Print"
from the pull-down menu. Print out the current
configuration data from this window.
Select the desired option(s) and click "OK" to print out
the following data.
▪ Optional Features
▪ FleetSync (DMS)
▪ Menu Key Settings
▪ Emergency Information
You can adjust the following configurations by clicking
[Setup].
▪ Select a printer if you use several printers.
▪ Select a printer sheet.
▪ Select the direction of the printer sheet.
Note: At least one printer must be connected to the PC to
execute the [Print] command.

Print Preview

Select "Print Preview" from the pull-down menu to
preview the image of the printed out data by executing
the [Print] command.

Exit

Select "Exit" from the pull-down menu to quit KPG-71D.
A message appears asking you to finish the operation,
after you execute the command. Select [OK] to continue
and [Cancel] to abort.
A message appears asking you to save the
configuration data if you quit the program without first
saving your data. There are three options: [Yes], [No],
or [Cancel].
