Service Access

Figure 5-4: To open Combi-Sets for service; remove the screws from the
sides of the appliance. (KM404 with the visible sides shown for illustration
purposes only). Does NOT apply to the KM406.
1. Remove the Combi-Set from the counter (5.1)
2. Remove the Knob(s) and Sealing Ring(s)
3. Refer tp Figure 5-4; remove the two (2) screws from each side
of the appliance (Except KM406 – See Note Below)
KM406 Note
The top and bottoms of the appliance are secured using the four (4)
Torx Screws on the underside of the base. Refer to figure 5-5.
4. Carefully lift the top framed section from the base.
5. Note and disconnect any connections as necessary.
a. For KM404 and KM406 remove all burner caps and rings.
b. For KM404 and KM406 remove the Retaining Screws
from the Burner Base(s) (Figure 5-6, Item 1)
