  • Page 6 Temperature • Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric fires. • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat. Naked Flames • Never place any type of candle or naked flame on the top of or near the unit.
  • Page 7 • Even if your device is resistant to dust and water, you should avoid using it unnecessarily to environments with excessive dust, sand and mud or to moist environments with extreme high or low temperatures. The water resist ability cannot be guaranteed in all environments or conditions.
  • Page 8 Service • To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. The unit does not contain any user- serviceable parts. Please leave all maintenance work to qualified personnel. • Do not open any fixed covers as this may expose dangerous voltages.

    Product Overview Front View 1. Speakers 2. Built-in microphone Manually open the jack cover at the rear of the unit for the connector panel. Do not use any metal or sharp objects to open the jack cover, because they will damage the rubber and impact the waterproofing function.

    Important Information about Water Resistant Operation For proper water resistant operation, make sure the plastic jack cover of the unit is completely flush with the unit by pressing along the entire edge of the cover until it is completely and securely in place.
  • Page 19 • Keep the jack cover free of dirt, sand, or other objects that can interfere with proper sealing. If for any reason the jack cover is not making a tight waterproof seal water may enter the unit. • DO NOT clean unit with oily soaps or use chemicals or solvents.

    Charging the Speaker The unit has a built-in rechargeable battery, which should be charged before using the speaker for the first time. 5 hours Charge the internal battery for before first time use. The battery is charged automatically whenever the unit is connected to a computer or a USB charging device.

    1. Open the jack cover of the speaker. 2. Connect the supplied micro-USB cable to the speaker, and then connect the other end to a computer. 3. The ON/OFF button will flash during charging. The light will light up after the unit is fully charged.

    When the Battery is Almost Empty ON/OFF button will flash per 10 seconds. When the battery becomes empty, the speaker turns off automatically. • Micro-USB socket is for charging the unit only. • Do not overcharge the battery as it may shorten its life. Disconnect the USB cable after the unit is fully charged.
  • Page 23 • Use the supplied micro-USB cable only, and connect directly to a computer. Charging will not be completed properly by an indirect connection, such as via a USB hub. • If the unit is not used for a long time, the OFF button may not light up when you connect the micro-USB cable to charge the unit.

    Connection Using the AUX Connection Use the supplied 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio cable to connect the headphone socket of an audio device and 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo the Aux in socket of audio cable (included) the unit.     Charging from the USB Socket The O/P: 5V 2.1A socket is designed only for charging mobile devices (e.g. MP3 player, mobile phone, etc.). It supplies 5V DC at a charging current of up to 2100 mA (2.1A). Use a USB cable (not included) to connect mobile device to the O/P: 5V 2.1A socket of the unit and the mobile device will start charging.
