Equipment Setup Review
• Make sure all connectors and connections are tight and secure on all entertainment system
components.
• Check to make sure each device supplying the signal to a transcoder card is functioning
properly.
• Check the CodePlus transcoder card(s) plugged into the HCS6150R. With AC power
applied, you should see LED activity on each card.
• Make sure the HCS6150R fan is working and fan cooling vents are unobstructed. Check
the exit vent area adjacent to the AC power connector on the back panel of the card frame.
With AC power applied, there should be a strong airstream from the vent area.
For troubleshooting information, refer to the Installation & Setup Guide for the individual
transcoder(s).
