     It must only be used to extract vapours and remove odours from cooking. Any other usage is at the owner's risk. Miele cannot be held liable for damage resulting from incorrect or improper use or operation.  The rangehood cannot be used to ventilate the room in which it is installed in recirculation mode above a gas cooktop.

To avoid the danger of fire, do not flambé or grill over an open flame. When switched on, the rangehood could draw flames into the filter. Kitchen grease deposits could ignite.
