    basic features Playback Playback is the most basic operation possible with your VCR. Audio-visual information recorded on a cassette will be played back on your TV screen just like a broadcast programme. Load a Video Cassette before you start Make sure that the window side of the cassette is facing up and the spine label is facing away from the VCR.

    advanced features Picture Quality Manual Tracking Your VCR is equipped with automatic tracking control. This will be adequate for most tapes and will automatically adjust the tracking to suit the particular tape in use but if you insert an old or worn tape, it may be necessary to manually adjust the track- ing in order to get the best picture.
