    E - H U B 2 . 0 G E T T I N G S TA R T E D — E-Hub 2.0 E-Hub 2.0 is an independent IoT gateway which can gather data from field devices as well as consumption of water, gas, etc. and connect to the system to ABB Ability cloud platform.

    Note: Although E-Hub 2.0 has built-in firewall feature to block initiative access from internet and allows only initiative to internet from E-Hub 2.0, it's still recommended to deploy dedicated firewall between E-Hub 2.0 and internet. It is recommended to configure rate limiter either at device level or network level depending on the requirement.

  • Page 12 Page select “Manual Discovery settings” Tick on the "Sniff gratuitous ARP packets" box. Digit in the device IP address of E-Hub 2.0, and click on plus symbol. Digit for each device connected via Modbus TCP the device static IP address and click on plus symbol.

  • Page 14 The plant owner is the one who accepts the EULA and renews the license. Moreover, he can edit and view everything inside ABB Ability™. If you are the owner of the plant, please select “Become Owner”, otherwise insert the email ad- dress of the person who will be the owner.
