Adjusting the Anti-Scalp
Rollers
Whenever you change the height-of-cut, adjust the
height of the anti-scalp rollers
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, lower the
cutting unit, engage the parking brake, shut off
the engine, and remove the key.
2.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
3.
Adjust the anti-scalp rollers as shown in
12.
Note:
Select a hole so the anti-scalp roller
is positioned to the nearest corresponding
height-of-cut desired.

Adjusting the Skid

Mount the skid in the lower position when operating in
height of cuts higher than 64 mm (2-1/2 inches) and
in the higher position when operating in height of cuts
lower than 64 mm (2-1/2 inches).
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, lower the
cutting unit, engage the parking brake, shut off
the engine, and remove the key.
2.
Remove the flange-head bolts and nuts from the
skid.
3.
Move the skid to the desired position and secure
it to the cutting unit with the flange-head bolts
and nuts
