Search For Im Groups And Users - Nokia 3250 User Manual

A list of IM groups that you have saved or are currently joined to is shown. The icon next to a group indicates
what type it is:
Group that you have created
Group that you have saved
Group that you are currently joined to but which you have not saved
To join an IM group, scroll to the group on the list, and press the joystick. To join an IM group not on the list but
whose group ID you know, select
Scroll to a group, select
to delete the group, View participants
ID, topic, members, editing rights in the group, and whether sending private messages is allowed in the group.
To leave the IM group, select

Search for IM groups and users

To search for groups, select
by Group name, Topic, or
select Options > Join
To search for new contacts, select
search by User's name,
search. To start a conversation with a user that is found, scroll to the user, and select
conversation. To save the user to contacts, select
invitation.
When the search result is displayed, to see more search results, select
Options >
Options > Group and from the following options:
to see who is currently joined to the group, and
Options > Leave IM
Menu > Connect.
Members (user ID). To join or save a group that is found in the search, scroll to it, and
or Save. If you want to search again, select
Options >
User ID, Phone number, and
