Inspecting and cleaning the restrictor sleeve
and opening in the pressure sensor module
Clean the restrictor sleeve and restrictor opening at
regular intervals.

Solidified test oil residue can block the small orifice
in the restrictor sleeve (fig. 17, item 2) and result in
false measurements.
Inspect and clean the restrictor sleeve and restrictor
orifice:

1 Hose fitting
2 Restrictor sleeve
3 Drain fitting
1. Remove container.
2. Remove drain fitting (fig. 17, item 3).
3. Remove restrictor sleeve (fig. 17, item 2).
4. Using a strong light source, check whether the orifi-
ce opening (fig. 18) is unobstructed.
 If the orifice opening is obstructed, clean the re-
strictor sleeve in an ultrasonic bath.

5. Blow compressed air through the hose fitting
(fig. 17, item 1) to clean the restrictor opening.
6. Screw in the restrictor sleeve (fig. 17, item 2) and
tighten to a tightening torque of 20 Nm.
7. Screw the drain fitting (fig. 17, item 3) into the
restrictor sleeve.
