6.1 Troubleshooting schedule

Problem
The motor does not start.
The motor stops immediately af-
ter you start the product.
The motor operates but there is
no suction.
The motor operates but unsatis-
factory suction.
Dust is blown from the motor.
Unusual noise.

6 Troubleshooting

Cause
There is no power supply.
The power cord is defective.
The ON/OFF switch is defective.
The soft start unit is defective.
There is an incorrect fuse.
There is short circuit in a cable or the product.
The hose is not connected.
The hose is clogged or blocked.
There is no dust bag.
The hose is damaged.
The filter is clogged.
The top cover is loose.
There is dirt on the lid at the bottom of the con-
tainer.
The gaskets are defective.
The filter system is incorrectly assembled or
damaged.
Solution
Connect the product to a power
source.
Replace the power cord.
Replace the ON/OFF switch.
Replace soft start unit.
Connect to correct fuse.
Do servicing on the product.
Connect the hose.
Clean the hose.
Install a dust bag.
Replace the hose.
Clean the filter or replace the fil-
ter.
Adjust the top cover.
Clean the lid at the bottom of the
container.
Replace the defective gaskets.
Adjust or replace the filters.
Do servicing on the product.
