Perform the necessary maintenance procedures as specified in the following table (for complete procedures, refer to the Operator's Manual):

Refer to the product Operator's Manual for complete safety information.
Maintenance Procedure
• Change the engine oil.
• Inspect the air-cleaner elements.
• Check the engine-oil level.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Check the blades for wear or damage.
• Check the seed gate.
• Clean the engine and exhaust area.
• Clean the debris buildup from under the machine.
• Check for loose fasteners.
• Grease the slicer-shaft bearings.
• Check the condition of the belts.
• Clean the air-cleaner elements. Clean them more frequently in dusty operating conditions.
• Change the engine oil.
• Check the spark arrester (if equipped).
• Clean under the belt cover.
• Inspect and adjust the spark plug; replace it if necessary.
• Change the hydraulic-transmission fluid.
• Replace the paper air-cleaner element. Replace it more frequently in dusty operating conditions.
• Replace the spark plug.
• Touch up chipped paint.
