Speakers Connection Front Speakers Connect the speaker wires to the SPEAKERS (FRONT) terminals, right speaker to "R" and left speaker to "L", coloured (marked) wire to "+" and black (unmarked) wire to "-". G Fully insert the stripped portion of the speaker wire into the terminal as shown.

Tape Operation/Recording To change the playback mode G Press AUTO REPLAY repeatedly to select the different playback modes. ➜ "AUTO REPLAY" ( å ) or "ONCE" will appear on the display. AUTO REPLAY …the tape will rewind automatically at the end of playback and replay again.
CD Synchro Recording Press CD 1•2•3 to select the disc. G Press í or ë to select the desired track to start recording. G You can programme the tracks in the order you want them to be recorded (refer to “CD Operation - Programming the disc tracks”).

Cleaning the disc lens G After prolonged use, dirt or dust may accumulate at the disc lens. To ensure good playback quality, clean the disc lens with Philips CD Lens Cleaner or any commercially available cleaner. Follow the instructions supplied with cleaner.
Troubleshooting RADIO RECEPTION Radio reception is poor. TAPE OPERATION/RECORDING Recording or playback cannot be made. The tape deck door cannot open. GENERAL The system does not react when buttons are pressed. Sound cannot be heard or is of poor quality. The left and right sound outputs are reversed.
