Go to ground

The Aircraft Status icon controls all the active channels on the instrument to ground status. The
channels on the ADTS553F and ADTS554F, a multichannel system may be at different altitudes,
they will take different times to get to ground status.
This is represented on the hand terminal display by two aircraft, which displays the status of the
Ps1, Pt1 and Ps2, Pt2 channels whilst they are transitioning to ground status. All channels will be
at ground before the hand terminal and front panel status LED indicate 'safe at ground'.
Starts the Go to ground procedure for all channels. The ADTS takes all channels to ground pres-
sure. See also section ADTS Touch.
1) To command the controller to take all channels to ground pressure, first tap the Aircraft
Status icon.
The new overlay screen shows the current aircraft status.
2) The display shows the current Rate at which the aircraft will go to ground (1).
