Function:
The setting in this parameter overrides
the settings in O-50 Coasting Select to
O-56 Preset Reference Select.
Control by using both digital input and
control word.
Control by using digital inputs only.
Control by using control word only.
Function:
NOTE
This parameter cannot be adjusted while
the motor is running.
Select the source of the control word: one of
two serial interfaces or four installed options.
During initial power-up, the frequency converter
automatically sets this parameter to [3] Option A
if it detects a valid fieldbus option module
installed in slot A. If the option is removed, the
frequency converter detects a change in the
configuration, sets O-02 Control Word Source
back to default setting RS-485, and the
frequency converter trips. If an option is
installed after initial power-up, the setting of
O-02 Control Word Source does not change, but
the frequency converter trips and displays:
Alarm 67 Option Changed.
When retrofitting a bus option into a frequency
converter, that did not have a bus option
installed to begin with, take an ACTIVE decision
to move the control to Bus based. This is done
for safety reasons to avoid an accidental
change.
O-03 Control Word Timeout Time

messages. If this time is exceeded, it indicates
that the serial communication has stopped.
The function selected in O-04 Control Word
Timeout Functionis then carried out. A valid
control word triggers the time-out counter.
O-04 Control Word Timeout Function
Select the time-out function. The time-out function activates
when the control word fails to be updated within the time
period specified in O-03 Control Word Timeout Time.

Resumes control via serial bus (fieldbus or

word.

Freeze output Freezes output frequency until communi-
cation resumes.

Stop
Stops with auto restart when communi-
cation resumes.

Runs the motor at JOG frequency until
communication resumes.

Runs the motor at maximum frequency
until communication resumes.

Stop and trip
Stops the motor, then resets the frequency
converter to restart: via the fieldbus, via
[Reset], or via a digital input.

Select setup 1 Changes the set-up upon reestablishment of
communication following a control word
time-out. If communication resumes after a
time-out, O-05 End-of-Timeout Function
defines whether to resume the set-up used
before the time-out, or to retain the set-up
endorsed by the time-out function.
