Before Using For The First Time - Miele CS 1322 Operating And Installation Instructions

Attach the data plate found in the
documents for your appliance in the
locations indicated in "Data Plate."
Clean the appliance
^ Clean the water trough and the grill
with a mild solution of warm water
and liquid dish liquid, then dry with a
soft cloth (see "Cleaning and care").
^ Wipe the other surfaces down with a
damp cloth and dry.

Before using for the first time

Heat the appliance
Metal components of the appliance
have a protective coating which may
give off a slight odor the first time the
appliance is heated.
The smell will dissipate after a short
time and does not indicate a faulty
connection or appliance defect.
