Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. Installation, maintenance work and repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by a Miele approved service technician. A damaged appliance can be dangerous. Faulty components must only be replaced by genuine Miele spare parts. The manufacturer can only guarantee the safety of the appliance when Miele replacement parts are used.

Warning and Safety instructions Correct use Never use an open flame beneath the rangehood. To avoid the danger of fire, do not flambé or grill over an open flame. When switched on, the rangehood could draw flames into the filter. Fat deposits could ignite, presenting a fire hazard. -

This way you will avoid the risk of grease and dirt getting into the appliance and hindering its smooth operation.
