Installation

The CarKit Phone is designed for installation in motor vehicles. The sales package con-
tains a convenient handsfree feature which allows you to make calls without holding the
phone to your ear, a separate input device for ease of use and an easy-to-read display.
Note:
• These instructions are general guidelines which apply for the installation of the
CarKit phone in an automobile. However, due to the wide variety of car types and
models available on the market, this guide cannot consider the individual techni-
cal requirements for any particular vehicle. Contact the vehicle manufacturer for
further detailed information about the vehicle in question.
• The CarKit Phone may only be installed by a qualified service technician using the
approved original Nokia parts supplied in the sales package. Please note that
non-observance of this requirement will result in loss of warranty. End users
should remember that the car phone kit comprises complex technical equipment
that requires professional installation using special tools and expert know-how.
