Installation and operation
Installation must only be carried out by trained and skilled personnel. Please follow your local
regulations concerning installation. Operation of the devices is not intended for personal, family or
!
household use and applications.
This product is supplied by SELV circuits (Safety extra low voltage) in which hazardous voltages are not generated.
Thus special safety measures are not required.
The detector loop including several detectors is connected to an interface which ensures the connection to the
panel controller.
This interface provides the detector with energy. Additionally data transmission like alarm- and trouble messages is
also realized via this interface.
There is no connection to mains.
To put the product into operation:
–
Program the required properties and the configuration with the remote programming software RPS.
–
Connect the detector to the detector base.
There are no restrictions of using the devices in commercial or industrial areas. The temperature range as
described in the table below must be followed.
