  • Page 3 Ricoh GXe3300N – Installation Guide: (3:20) Microsoft Windows OS Verifi cation (1:1) Before you begin, you will need to verify the Windows Edition and System Type you are using on your PC. This is important when deciding which drivers to download. You should only download those drivers, which are compat- ible with your version of Operating System.
  • Page 4 Remove the paper tray, pull the cover straight up, and adjust the guides for the paper size you will be using. Load the paper, put the cover back on, and reinsert the tray into the printer. For larger paper sizes, refer to the documentation provided with your Ricoh printer for extending the paper tray.   • Page 5 Plug the power cord into a power outlet and plug the USB cable into a 2.0 USB port located on the back of the computer. DO NOT POWER ON THE PRINTER AT THIS TIME. 5.) Start your computer, wait until Windows is fully operational and proceed to the Ricoh (OEM) driver download and installation section.
  • Page 6 The following instructions will demonstrate how to install the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver on computers running Windows Operating Systems. Before installing the SubliJet-R PowerDriver, you will need to install the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver. If the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver has already been installed on your machine, then please proceed to the SubliJet-R PowerDriver Installation section.
  • Page 7 (7:20) Ricoh (OEM) Driver Download & Installation (cont’d 2:8) To proceed, read the Ricoh Software License Agreement. If you agree with the terms of the agreement, click I Agree (see FIGURE 2). FIGURE 2 Clicking I Agree will open the following web page. Locate and click the link that corresponds with your computers Operating System (see FIGURE 3).

FIGURE 4 The following screen will appear asking to Run the installation or Save the fi le to your computer. In this example we will choose to Run the installation (see FIGURE 5).

Click Run to continue. FIGURE 7 The executable will need to be extracted before continuing. Note the folder location where the fi les will be stored and click Unzip (see FIGURE 8).

In this example the folder location was Computer > C: > temp > z48155Lf. However, your folder location may differ. Once you have located the folder, double-click RDISETUP.exe (see FIGURE 11).

Select how the printer is connected to your computer and click Next (see FIGURE 13). For this example we will select USB cable. FIGURE 13 13.)   • Page 13 You must restart your computer to complete the printer driver installation. Save and close any work that may be open and click Finish (see FIGURE 18). FIGURE 18 Congratulations! The Ricoh (OEM) printer driver has successfully been installed. Please proceed to the PowerDriver-R Installation & Registration section. PAGE 8...

From the home page, fi rst highlight Technical Support, next highlight SubliJet-R, then highlight Ricoh GXe3300N, and fi nally highlight and click PowerDrivers & MacProfi les (see FIGURE 1). This will open the PowerDriver Downloads for SubliJet page (see FIGURE 2).

FIGURE 4 Ensure you are installing the correct driver and click Next (see FIGURE 5). FIGURE 5 If you agree with the terms of the License Agreement, click I Agree (see FIGURE 6).

FIGURE 7 Click Install if you would like to install the driver in the specifi ed Destination Folder (see FIGURE 8).

Note the Product ID as this will be needed during the registration process and click Obtain Registration Code (see FIGURE 12).
