4. Use the lancet device to
obtain a small drop of
blood resting on the side
of your finger.
5. Hold the meter so the
test strip points down-
ward at a slight angle.
6. Gently touch and hold
the black notch on the
front edge of the test
strip to the blood drop.
The blood is drawn
into the test strip
automatically.
Do not pull your finger
away until the
is displayed and the
meter beeps.

The test starts as soon as the
test strip has the correct amount
of blood. If the beep signal is
turned on, the meter will beep
when the test begins.
EXAMPLE
