Setting the Hypoglycemic (Hypo) Indicator

You may set the meter to warn you when your results indicate hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) anywhere
between 60-80 mg/dL. Before you set the hypoglycemic indicator, ask your healthcare professional
to help you decide what level is best for you. New meters have the hypo indicator turned off by
default. To turn on and set the hypo indicator:
1. Press and release
meter. Wait for the flashing test strip
or "---".
2. Press and hold
appears on the display, then release.
The word "On" and the beeper symbol
will appear.
3. Press
flashes and "OFF" and "set" appear.
