Setting
Description
My WN2500RPv2 wireless network (5GHz)
Name (SSID)
In the Name (SSID) field, type a new name or use the name that the extender
assigns by default:
If more than one extender operates in your neighborhood, changing the SSID
makes it easier to identify the extenders.
Channel
From the Channel menu, select Auto for automatic channel selection or select an
individual channel.

if the extender is not connected to the WiFi router. For more information about

unless you experience interference (shown by lost connections or slow data
transfers). If this happens, experiment with different channels to see which is the
best.
Wireless mode
From the Wireless mode menu, select one of the following modes:

You can change the channel if you have enabled FastLane Technology or

to join the network and allows 802.11an devices to function at up to
300 Mbps.
